April Building and AGM

April has been a busy month of building. The Engine Kit arrived and work has begun to mount the Engine to the Airframe. Teenflight also had it’s Annual General Meeting which was very well attended. Now is also the time to mark your calendar for the Teenflight Campbell River Wings…

Week 11 and 12

Work has continued on the RV12. The team has learned more about working with Fibreglass as they create the fairing for the front of the Canopy. The Engine Cowl is getting closer with another joining hinge riveted to the bottom cowl.

2016 – Week 9

2016 – Week 3

Week 3     The Rear Window was drilled and screwed. Sealant was used to keep water from leaking inside.   Cowl Hinges were installed       The Lower Cowl was aligned and drilled More to come next week!

Attaching the Wings

  5 of the more dedicated Teenflight students were on hand during an extra evening to prepare for the Wings and Wheels event. The landing gear attachment was completed and the crew then attached the Wings to the Fuselage – a major milestone in the construction of the kit.

Aircraft Inspection

The Teenflight RV-12 recently completed the Pre-Cover Inspection. Brian from MD-RA flew to Campbell River from Victoria to complete the inspection. The Aircraft easily Passed the inspection!
